There was no traditional Christmas market in Hindås this year due to renovation of the station building and carpark where the market usually takes place. Instead the shops and other local organisations created their own festive day.
ChennaiSmiles set up a stall outside the local supermarket. We sold our Arts and Crafts raffle tickets and once again held our popular chocolate and cake raffle with prizes donated by local homebakers, La Praline in Gothenburg and ICA Hindåsen. We also sold our Christmas card "Hindås", a linoleum print by George Norman, dolls donated by Rubens Barn and handwoven scarves by Julia Norman. It was a bustling, fun day and we are most grateful to all our donors and helpers who made this day so successful. Many thanks too to all who came and bought from our stall!
